As you can see this is a fantastic line up of some of the best rock songs out there, with a great mix of old and new there is bound to be a handful of songs everyone will like if not more.
It has a simple but effective menu system allowing you to jump straight into the action with only a few clicks and a shake. All the songs feature their own music video with the lyrics appearing at the bottom of the screen and the notes in the middle, so a standard layout making sure the screen is clutter free. I was very impressed with how clear the lyrics were on the screen, I’ve played a few karaoke games and it’s been a bit hard but they’ve done a great job making them crisp and clear.
There are a ton of different game modes including the normal team and verses singing. Other game modes include Pass the Mic, Expert Mode, Blind, Marathon and a few standard more. Expert mode is exactly what it says and should only be attempted by the hardest rockers out there! Expert mode takes away the lyrics and the helpful note bars. So all your left with is the instrumental backing and you…… Good Luck!
When selecting what song to play you can change options very easily just by pressing a button, want to sing along to your favourite song without the singer’s voice? Just press ‘+’ to switch between Full Song and Instrumental. Your also able to change the song length (Full Song or Shorted Version) and
We Rock is a party game at its very best, it’s not a game that will drag you away from killing dragons or running around a city in lycra but it will definitely get everyone in front of the Wii rocking out to their favourite songs. So if you love rocking out and karaoke then this game is perfect for you! It’s time to get the eye-liner back out and Rock!!!
